Arc suppression capacitors are fitted across the contacts of the
alarm/control relays. If these contacts are used to operate
external relays, the capacitor leakage current may be sufficient
to prevent the external relay from de-energizing. If so, switch off
the power supply and external alarm circuits. Identify the
appropriate relay module and remove it
– see Fig. 8.1.
Unsolder and remove the appropriate capacitors, shown in Fig.
8.1 and refit the module.
