Replacing telescopic shaft parts

The following procedure describes how to disassemble the entire telescopic shaft.
The individual components are replaced if they are damaged.

Disassemble the telescopic shaft

Loosen the two attachment screws and remove
the universal joint with mounting clamp.

Remove the attachment screw, and pull off the
telescope bearing housing.

Pull the upper and lower part of the telescopic
arm apart.

Loosen the two attachment screws on the tele-
scope bearing housing, and pull the slide bearing
out and replace.
