16.28 Communication
16.28.1 Modbus communication
Corrigo E can be connected to a network for Modbus communication. You do not need an
activation code.

If Modbus communication is activated, you can set the address etc.
Modbus communication takes place using 1 stop bit.
Modbus Address: 1
Speed: 9600 bps
Two stop bits:Yes
Parity:No
Note: Only one stop bit can be used.
16.28.2 Function port 2
Units connected to port two can be set to "Slave", "Master", "Expansion unit", "Modbus master" or
both “Expansion unit and Modbus master”. A 2-port Corrigo is required. Port two is then used for
communication with the expansion units or frequency converters. This port is also used to connect
an external display/room unit.

For control of up to two Vacon NXL/Lenze SMV/Omron V1000/Emerson Commander/ LS iG5a /
LS iS7 / EBM-PABST frequency converters using Modbus communication. Miscellaneous alarms

at the end of this manual.
The Corrigo Modbus settings are listed below. They are not adjustable and must also be set in the
Vacon NXL/Lenze SMV/Omron V1000/Emerson Commander/ LS iG5a / LS iS7 / EBM-PABST
frequency converters.
Modbus address: Supply air fan = 1, Extract air fan = 2
Speed: 9600 bps, 1 stop bit, no parity
