: The Ringer Equivalence
Number (REN) assigned to each
terminal device denotes the
percentage of the total load to be
connected to a telephone loop which
is used by the device, to prevent
overloading. The termination of a
loop may consist of any combination
of devices subject only to the
requirement that the sum of the REN
of all the devices does not exceed
100.
This telephone has been tested and
found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device in accordance
with the Canadian EMI requirement
ICES-003.

To eliminate the
possibility of accidental damage to
cords, plugs, jacks and the telephone,
do not use sharp instruments during
the assembly procedures.
