Telephone Feature
Description
Allows you to place the phone in a “do not disturb” (DND) status. If DND is ON, callers calling the phone do
not hear a ring and then the call is dropped. If call forward is configured on the phone, the call can be for-
warded to voicemail or to another SIP URL or number.
Allows you to turn ON or OFF call forwarding.
Stores all of your contact information. On the contacts screen, you can add, edit, and delete contacts. You
can also add contacts to your favorites and create contact folders.
Allows you to find contacts from the global directory.
Brings up the Favorites menu (the home screen) that displays your favorite contacts and saved confer-
ences.
Allows you to access your saved conferences.
Note:
This is not available in PBX mode.
Allows you to add participants to a conference call.
Opens the conference menu, where you can request moderator control, change the format, view partici-
pants, and save the conference.
Allows you to search through your contacts, favorites, directory, and call history.
Allows you to dial a SIP URL or phone number.
Displays information about each call that came to your phone. The BluStar 8000i logs the name and
number of the caller, and the date and time of the call.
