After recording

Copy all the files to the computer or an 

external disk, see above.

AVI files can be corrupted at the end 

if power is lost during a recording. Try 

CFrepair, the AVI  fixer from CineForm, 

to repair the AVI or otherwise contact 

3D-ONE.

Editing

The following programs have been 

tested to work with the CP31 files:

Windows:

MJPEG AVI files are natively supported 

on Windows. However, the standard 

Microsoft MJPEG decoder is rather slow, 

therefore we recommend to install a 

third party codec such as PicVIDEO from 

Accusoft or Morgan MJPEG.

ADOBE Premiere CS5. Native 

support. To edit in 3D use a plugin 

such as Cineform NEO HD or 3D

• 

IRIDAS SpeedGrade DI 2010. Native 

support

•  AVID MediaComposer 5. Native

Mac

•  FinalCutPro 7. AVI files can be 

imported but FCP wants to render 

them. To avoid rendering convert 

to PHOTO-JPEG or PRORES. A future 

release of the CP31 firmware will 

include MOV Photo-JPEG support 

for writing files. To edit in 3D requires 

a plugin such as Cineform NEO or 

the Stereo3D toolbox.
