Setup
Mounting
Fix a tripod mount to the bottom of the
camera.
Prevent to block the cooling plate at the
bottom, as the camera might get hot
which causes the noise level to go up
and ultimately might cause the camera
to shut off.
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation
to cool the camera.
The camera can be used from the
hands or shoulders.
One of the displays can be moved to
a position on the side of the camera.
If necessary, remove the rubber ring
on the display to ease looking into the
display.
When it is intended to inspect the
recordings on the camera with a stand-
alone laptop, set the DHCP to ‘server’.
When the camera is connected to a
network that already contains a DHCP
server (e.g., a network that hands out
IP numbers to laptops or a camera
that acts as DHCP server), set DHCP to
‘client’.
Power
External power
The camera is best powered with an
external power supply. Connect the
power supply with a power cable to a
110 or 230 V, 50 or 60 Hz socket. Connect
the 18 V DC output connector of the
power supply to the camera.
