6.5.1  Installing the Power Distribution Box

Install the power distribution box 

Follow these steps to install the power distribution box: 

1)  Wear the ESD-preventive wrist strap and grasp the two ends of the power 

distribution box. Align the power distribution box with the slot and push it in. See

in Figure 6-5.  

2) 

Fasten the four screws to fix the power distribution box. See 

②

 in Figure 6-5.  

6.5.2  Removing the Power Distribution Box 

Follow these steps to remove the power distribution box (just in the opposite way you 

install it): 

1) 

Loosen the four captive screws with a Philips screwdriver. 

2) 

Grasp the two ends of the power distribution box and slide it out of the chassis.  

 

  Caution: 

Disconnect all power modules from the power distribution box before you remove the 

power distribution box. Otherwise, it is difficult to remove the power distribution box.
