DESCRIPTION
Standard
Refers to the ADSL standard in use. Full rate G.dmt and ANSI T1.413 allow rates up to
8 Mbps downstream and 832 Kbps upstream and require the use of a telephone
splitter. The reduced rate G.Lite provides up to 1.536 Mbps downstream and 512 Kbps
upstream and does not require a telephone splitter. Multi-Mode allows the standard to
be negotiated automatically.

IP Address This is the IP address of the Prestige in dotted decimal notation.
IP Mask This shows the subnet mask of the Prestige.

Trace
There are two logging facilities in the Prestige. The first is the error logs and trace records that are stored
locally. The second is the UNIX syslog facility for message logging.
6.4.1 Error Log
The first place you should look for clues when something goes wrong is the error log. Follow the procedure
below to view the local error/trace log:
