Telco Options: Transfer Rate -
This field (which only applies to
outgoing calls) controls the rate at which the data is transferred
between your Prestige and the Internet. There are four options for
this field:

- The Prestige will place 64Kbps (bits per second) digital
data calls.

The Prestige will place Modem data calls.

X.75
- (for the DSS1 and 1TR6 only) The Prestige will place
X.75 digital data calls.

V.120
- (for the DSS1 and 1TR6 only) The Prestige will place
V.120 digital calls.

(For the North America only) The Prestige will place
56Kbps digital data calls.
•
DOVBS
- (For the North America only) The Prestige will
place 56Kbps Data Over Voice Bearer Service (DOVBS) call.
Some phone companies in North America charge less if calls
are made using DOVBS.
