(OPTIONAL)
There are two buttons on the front of the controller.
-
Silence/Reset
• Can be pressed to silence current alarms for 24 hours.
•
Can be held for longer than 3 seconds to reset high water alarm. Reset will clear flashing light on unit.
• Other alarms must be cleared by a proper function of alarm component.
-
Self Test
•
Will run the pump when the low water light is green (float up or jumper installed) to determine if amp draw of pump is in range. If low water float is
used, unit will pump water to determine proper pump operation of check valve and discharge piping.
•
If low water float is down due to lack of water, controller will determine if pump is connected during self test, but will not run the pump due to lack
of water.
• Battery testing:
° Unit constantly monitors battery to determine if battery is connected and at proper voltage.
°
The battery is load-tested after every use of the pump.
•
Controller is factory programmed to self-test the pump every 24 hours for 10 seconds.
•
Holding the self-test button for 10 seconds will start the 24-hour timer for self-testing.
