Except the above presented method to stop the system’s operation it can be done by
pressing the switch “START”, positioned on the interface panel of the hot water boiler from
series “Pelletherm V.4 LT”. To restore the system’s operation press this switch again.
It is forbidden to stop the appliance during operation through the main switch
“POWER”!
The recommended stopping, through the switch “START” positioned on the boiler or through
the burner’s display panel, ensures controlled and safe stopping. The fans operation in this
case after stop signal guarantee readiness for next start and protects the photic sensor
operational abilities.
In case the system operation is not needed any more the boiler and the burner have to be
cleaned from the ash residues, deposited over their surfaces directly contacting with the flue
gasses.
The stopping mode of the pellet burner from series “GP xx sc” is presented in
its manual book.
In case the system operation is stopped a complete cleaning from the ash
residues over the boiler’s heat exchanging surfaces must be performed,
because the ash has corrosive influence to the steel surfaces, which reduces
the appliance life. Also at the end of the heating season the system must be
completely cleaned and a prophylaxis has to be performed by a specialized
servicing company. Observance of the these procedures provides long
operation life and high reliability of the system’s modules.
6.6.
SHUTTING DOWN THE SYSTEM.
The appliance shutting down can be performed by stopping the operation of the pellet burner
from series “GP xx sc”. This is the recommended method, because it performs the so called
“controlled shut down” – during it the automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc” is still
operating and monitors for emergencies. After the boiler has been cooled down it has to be
shut down through the switch “POWER”, positioned on the interface panel of the hot water
boiler from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT”. It is also recommended to clean the boiler from the
ash remains after shut down.
