When these conditions are met, the controller performs the following algorithm:
There is supplied power, whereby the outer endless screw, the ignition electric heater
and fan for supply of combustion air are turned on;
After the preset (by the manufacturer) time elapse, ensuring charging the combustion
chamber with the so called "initial " dose for the initial ignition, power of the endless
screw switch off and it stops;
After the photosensor in the burner register poresence of combustion process, the
power to the ignition heater is interrupted, then for some time gradually is reached the
setpoint for thermal power of the burner. If the photosensor does not report detects
flame for a definite period of time, it makes a new attempt to ignite, by operating
again the screw for fuel supply and repeat the above described sequence. The
number of ignition trials is limited;
In case of successful ignition of the fuel, it is passed to nominal operation mode of the
burner, which is realized by periodically alternating the fuel supply and pause for its
combustion. Times for fuel supply and pause for its combustion are defined and firmly
set in the control module software of the boiler and it is possible to change its power
by selecting one of the degrees of thermal power.
The operation of the boiler is controlled by the NTC sensor, by which is measured the
temperature of the circulating fluid. The controller manages the operation mode as follows:
Upon approaching the set value, control module of the equipment reduces its thermal
power (i.e. modulating mode of operation)
Upon lowering the temperature of the circulating water, the boiler recovers its thermal
power;
If during operation of the boiler signal for operation drops (e.g. from room
thermostats), then the equipment will turn off as per the algorithm described above;
If during the rest the assignment of work is changed and there is received a signal to
operate, then the boiler will start work as per the above-described algorithm. The
same is valid when the temperature of the circulating water is lower than that set in
the settings of the controller;
If the fuel does not ignite at the first attempt, there follow automatically new try for its
ignition, the number of ignition attempts are two (specified by the manufacturer). In
case of a misfire after the second attempt, it is possible to have fuel accumulated on
the grate of the burner of the specialized boiler. It is necessary to determine and
correct the cause of the misfire and also to clean the grate of the burner from the
available fuel;
In case of interruption of the electrical supply and its recovery, starting of the boiler is
automatically.
If the accumulated fuel on the grate is not removed in successfully
subsequent ignition (e.g. after burner reboot) it can lead to difficulty ignition of
relatively the greater quantity of fuel, resulting in the release of unburned
gases and possibly to their explosive ignition, which can even cause
mechanical damage to the equipment.
Before starting the boiler it has to be checked whether the grate of specialized
burner was left unlit fuel and ash, and if there is any to be removed and ash to
be cleaned.
During the operation of the boiler, burner can move to final afterburning and
purge if is enabled the option for cleaning during operation – parameter
