DRA-2 UNIVERSAL COMMUNICATION NODE
66/158
USER GUIDE - Rev.5 (January 2018)
The sections and their configuration parameters are as follows:
QoS Layer 3 Classification:
This section creates the classification rules, based on a tubular structure. The
parameters for each rule are:
•
Origin.
This establishes the source IP address of the packet associated with this
classification rule. The field requires the values to be entered in the IP address
format. Example: 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 or 192.168.0.0/24. The value any is a
valid value, and means that the source IP address will not be analysed.
•
Destination.
This field is the same as the previous one, but analysing the
destination IP address.
•
Service
. The condition is established based on a specific service (tcp/udp/icmp),
and after the service the port number (1÷65535) must be indicated, separated with
two points. The default value is
any
and means that the service will not be
analysed as part of the condition.
•
DSCP
. The field analysed is the information on the class of level 3 service, DSCP
(
Differentiated Services Code Point
). The user directly configures the value for
fulfilling the condition. It is a numerical value between 0 and 31 (strict value of the
full DSCP field). It admits the
any
value as a all-purpose word, to eliminate this part
of the condition.
•
Priority.
This establishes the priority of the packet in the case of it fulfilling all the
requirements established by the rule. The values are
High
,
Medium
and
Low
.
The
Default priority
field establishes the priority in all cases in which the packet fails
to comply with any of the rules established, or if no rules are configured. The values
are the same as the
Priority
field.
QoS Layer 3 Policy:
In this section the user can assign the HTB or HTB-Shared policies specifically to a
device. If this is not done, the service policy is
Priority
for all of them (see the
introductory section).
The configuration is also tabulated, and the parameters for each of the assignations are
the following:
•
Device.
Identifies the device to which the policy specified by the following
parameters will be applied.
