Signal_and_ecn0:
The system will monitor both RSCP and EC/n0 and, for
the quality criteria to be satisfied, both measures must meet the
corresponding thresholds simultaneously and for the entire evaluation
period.

Signal_or_ecn0:
The system will monitor both RSCP and EC/n0 and
quality criteria are satisfied if one of the two measures meets the
corresponding threshold for the entire evaluation period.
o
ecn0:
The system will analyze EC/n0 as the only measure of quality.
Applicable only operating on 3G networks.
If the network in use is 2G, the
Signal_and_ecn0
,
Signal_or_ecn0
and
ecn0
criteria are interpreted as
Signal.
This establishes the criteria for 3G networks, and
allows the equipment to be operative although the actual network be 2G,
temporarily or permanently.
•
Add default route.
This parameter allows you to tell the equipment that you want
to use a cellular connection, once it is established, as the default route to the
equipment, as regards the routing functions.
The default gateway assigned by the operator will be used when the option
is
enabled
. If there is a default route established by the user in the
Default Static
Routes
block of the
Routing
menu, the latter is preferable, and the option of the
cellular interface would not have an effect.
