USER GUIDE - Rev.5 (January 2018)
•
Operation Mode.
This establishes the manner in which the equipment will obtain
the NMK for the interface.
AUTO
: The equipment does not know the NMK assigned to the link to which it is
connected, and therefore executes automatic connection tests with each of the
NMK included in the configured GNMK. In this way, the role of the PLC interface is
always
Station (slave)
.
ASK
: The interface uses a specific NMK obtained by querying the GNMK Server.
In this way, the role of the PLC interface is always
CCo (master)
.
STATIC
: The NMK is use is the one indicated by the user in the selection chart.
•
NMK
Index.
Selects an NMK in the assigned group. An index is used instead of the
code, which firstly prevents errors in entering it and secondly, ensures privacy.
•
Station Role.
This establishes the behaviour of the interface in terms of the
Master-Slave
paradigm. The values admitted are:
Auto
,
Station (slave)
and
CCo
(master)
. This only makes sense when the Operation Mode is
STATIC
.
In
Auto
mode the
CCo (master)
selection is made automatically between all the
equipment sharing one NMK, including resolution, in the event that the selected
equipment ceases to be operative.
When establishing the roles it is
ESSENTIAL
to guarantee that
ONE equipment
exists configured with the static CCo role (master).
In the event that all the
equipment is configured in static with the Station role (slave) and none is
configured as Auto or CCo (master), the PLC environment will not be available.
Equipment with roles in dynamic and static mode may coexist,
provided
the
above condition is fulfilled.
