6.12 Purging the cylinders
Purge the lift cylinders by fully lowering the platform
a few times. You may have to lift the truck to fully
lower the platform.
The tilting cylinders can be purged by raising the
platform fully against the vehicle body and then tilt-
ing all the way down.
6.13 Transport lock
Electric hose rupture valves serve as locks for the
platform. The lock opens automatically if the down
function is actuated from the controller. The valves
are check valves that let fluid into the cylinders but
not out before they are actuated by the flow from
the lowering valve. The platform is thus hydraulically
locked during transport.
