CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
NOTE: Do not immerse the base, cord and plug into water.
1. Unplug and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
2. Do not use abrasive detergents such as emulsions, cream cleaners, polishes, etc. to clean housing. They may remove the graph

ic information symbols.
3. Do not clean the plastic bowls using rough sponges or cloths.
4. We recommend washing the lid

uid. Rinse and dry the food steamer parts thoroughly after washing.
5. The parts mentioned above can be also washed in the upper level of the dishwasher, using a short washing cycle. However,
washing these parts regularly in the dishwasher may result in the loss of shine on their outside surfaces and their tarnishing.
6. Empty the water container

and change the water after each use of the appliance.
7. Do not immerse the water container with the heating assembly

in water. Fill the water container with warm water with dish

washing liquid and wipe it with a cloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly after washing.
8. Wipe the base and housing with a damp cloth.
9. Clean the appliance regularly.
Removing lime scale from the water container
After 2-3 months of constant use chemical compounds may accumulate in the water container with the heating assembly

. This is
a normal situation. The amount of lime scale depends on the water hardness. It is necessary to regularly remove lime scale in order
to provide an equal amount of generated steam and to extend the lifespan of the appliance.
1. Fill the water container

with white vinegar (not dark vinegar) up to the maximum level.
CAUTION: Do not use lime scale removing chemical substances or lime scale removers available on the market.

should be installed in proper
places.
3. Set the cooking time for 25 minutes.
NOTICE: If the vinegar starts to boil over and spill on the base, switch off the timer and unplug the appliance. Reduce the
amount of vinegar.
4. When you hear a beep, unplug the appliance, allow to cool and pour out the vinegar.
5. Rinse the water container with the heating assembly several times with cold water and dry.
ECOLOGY – ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Each user can protect the natural environment. It is neither difficult nor expensive.
In order to do it: put the cardboard packing into recycling paper container; put the polyethylene (PE) bags into container
for plastic.
When worn out, dispose the appliance to particular disposal centre, because of the dangerous elements of this appli

ance, which can be hazardous for natural environment.
