Changing the Filter Module

•
Unscrew and remove the three fastening screws
(Fig. 4-3/
1
) using an Allen key (SW 3).
•
Screw two of the fastening screws into the
threaded holes (Fig. 4-3/
3
) of the filter module.
They will serve as handles.
•
Hold the filter module (Fig. 4-3/
2
) by the two
screws and pull it carefully upwards out of the
device.
•
Unscrew the two fastening screws again from
the threaded holes of the removed filter
module.
•
Screw the two fastening screws into the
threaded holes (Fig. 4-3/
3
) of the filter module
to be inserted.
•
Push the new filter module carefully into the
device to stop. The two guide bolts make
insertion easier.
•
Unscrew the two fastening screws from the
threaded holes of the filter module.
•
Introduce the three fastening screws (Fig. 4-3/
1
)
into the filter module (Fig. 4-3/
2
) and tighten
them.
•
Attach the magnetic base plate (Fig. 4-2/
1
) again and remove the lifting screw.
Crush hazard! Do not reach with your fingers between the device and the base plate when
attaching the base plate.
•
Mount the camera adapter matching the filter module (see chapter 3.6).
Take care that the filter module and the camera adapter fit together and have the same ID
number. Non-observance may result in malfunctions.
•
Mount supporting feet, if necessary (see chapter 3.5).
•
Connect VivaTome again to the microscope (see chapter 3.4).
•
Connect the liquid light guide, the power cable and, if necessary, the USB cable (see chapter 3.7).
