Changing the Filter Module
Prior to changing the filter module, switch off the HXP 120 illuminator and disconnect the
VivaTome plug-in power unit from the mains socket outlet.
As the filter module and the camera adapter are properly matched to one another, they must
always be changed jointly. Filter sets and camera adapters which belong together have the same
ID number.
Change the filter module as follows:
•
Switch off the HXP 120 and disconnect the
plug-in power unit from the mains socket
outlet.
•
Disconnect the liquid light guide, power cable
and USB cable from VivaTome (see 3.7).
•
Remove VivaTome from the microscope and put
it on a soft surface.
•
If necessary, remove the supporting feet (see
chapter 3.5).
•
Screw the lifting screw (included in the filter set)
into the threaded hole (Fig. 4-2/
2
) of the base
plate (Fig. 4-2/
1
).
•
Lift the base plate by means of the lifting screw.
This requires some force due to the magnets
retaining the base plate.
