9. Adjustment of Brake Pedal
ADJUSTMENT
Reference value is 153 to 158mm.
If it is not within this range, adjust as follows:
Screw out the service
brake light, separating it
from the brake pedal rod.
Loose lock nut on the
brake booster, rotate the
control valve stem of
brake booster to change
the position of lever fork to adjust the height of
brake pedal until it is proper, then re-tighten the
lock nut.
Readjust the switch of service brake lamp, its
clearance should be 0.5 to 1.5mm, at the same
time re-tighten the lock nut on the switch of
brake light.
Free Travel Adjustment
When motor stops, depress the brake pedal two
or three times to eliminate the residual vacuum in
to 9 teeth, the travel of parking brake meets the
requirement, otherwise it is necessary to adjust.
When adjusting, disassemble the plate of tea table,
release the handle of parking brake, unscrew
locknut 1, and then adjust the position of adjusting
nut 2, until the handle travel of parking brake
meets the requirement, then tighten locknut 1.
WARNING!
If the handle stroke of parking brake meets
the requirement, but the vehicle can not
stop absolutely when parking, or parking
can not be released completely when
releasing the handle of parking brake, the
vehicle brake system must be repaired and
adjusted at once.

Adjust the Height of Brake Pedal
Depress the brake pedal by a force about 490N
to measure the distance bewteen brake pedal and
front floor panel.The reference value is 80mm.
If the distance is short than reference value, the
following causes could be considered to repair
and adjust:
•Air Exists in the Brake Pipe.
• The brake pipe leaks.
The clearance between push rod of the brake
booster and piston of the brake master cylinder
is too large.
• Brake shoe plate is severely worn.
10. Check the level of brake fluid.
Check the level of brake fluid in fluid tank which
should be between the maximum and minimum
calibration lines. If it is near or below the minimum
line, please refill the brake fluid in time so as not to
affect the braking performance of the brake system.
11. Check the stroke of parking brake.
Pull up the handle of parking brake by force of
400N (about 40Kg), if the pulling travel is within 6
