5.4. Starting cooking
At this point press the "start" key. The temperature of the chamber will
begin to rise. If the maximum temperature (400°C) has been set and the
setting for the top and bottom elements is at maximum (overhead 9 and
bedplate level 9), the oven will get up to full working capacity in 45-55
minutes. The display with white backlighting appears as follows:
The line on the display with the program symbol stands out from the
others with a black background. This is to show that a cooking cycle has
been started and is running.
The top and bottom elements are activated and are directly connected
to their respective temperature probes.
If one of the two probes shows a temperature greater than or equal to
the temperature that has been set, the element is disengaged
This condition is maintained until the moment when the probe gives a
temperature 1°C lower than the set temperature. The temperature shown
on the display is the average between the values given by the two probes.
The timer starts to count down until the cooking time has been
completed. A buzzer then gives off an intermittent tone for about 10
seconds, the backlighting goes from white to orange and the display
flashes, showing the remaining time at 00:0. To silence the buzzer press
the “start” key, to return to the initial mode of activity, press (the “start”
key) again.
