5. USE
5.1. Preparation for use
If the appliance has just been installed or if it has not been used for
some time, it should be cleaned thoroughly following the instructions in
chapter 6 before preparing food products. This is to eliminate residue from
the manufacturing process and the accumulation of dust and other
substances that could contaminate food.
IMPORTANT
– TURNING ON FOR THE FIRST TIME
The components of a factory new oven (cooking surfaces of refractory or
sheet metal material) need to be subjected to an initial preheating.
BRINGING THE OVEN UP TO TEMPERATURE OVER A PERIOD OF 5-
6 HOURS (1°h=100°C - 2-3°h=150°C - 4°h=200°C - 5°h=250°C -
6°h=300°C); the first time the oven is turned on this is an
INDISPENSIBLE procedure to avoid possible damage to the above
mentioned parts.
5.2. Turning on the control panel
Press and hold the
“on/off” key (Fig.1)
for (about) 2 seconds, the system will
return to active “ON”, and a white
(backlighted) screen will display the
manufacturer’s trademark and the
program version for (about) 3 seconds,
after which the screen will display the
parameters used before last shutdown.
5.3. Programming
Input all the settings necessary to program a cooking cycle (see
paragraph 4.3.1).
