11 CHANGING MATERIAL SYSTEMS
If using ZCast Powder, you will need new metal
snowplows (part number 04357 & 04358), and a ZF8
ZCast Powder Feeder. These items are needed to
prevent damage to the printer. Please ensure that these
hardware changes have been made before proceeding.
For information on how to design a ZCast mold, read the
ZCast Design Guide which can be found at the appendix
of this manual or in the Applications section of the User
Group Website at www.zcorp-users.com.
To change material systems on the Z810 3D Printer, use the following procedure:
1. Remove all powder from the top deck
and under the build plate.
2. Remove the powder from the overflow
bin and empty into the ZF8 Feeder.
