C2.10 Input
Filtering
The input filtering function removes noise from input signals.
It is especially useful to remove high frequency noise from flow rate or pressure signals.
It performs 1st order delay calculation for filtering.
As shown in Figure C2.6, more noise is removed when a larger time-constant is specified.
Use the input filtering function in a noisy environment when corrections must be
performed constantly.
Beware that a time-constant that is too large may result in a distorted signal waveform.
