6.4 Error Codes When Using WideField3
This section lists error messages that may appear when starting the FA Link
Configuration or FA Link Module Status. It also lists probable causes and
corrective actions.

Error reading link
information.
An error has occurred during
communications with the CPU.
Replace the computer cable.
Replace the computer.
Replace the sequence CPU module.
No FA link module in
connected unit.
No FA link module is mounted.
Attach the FA link module, and repeat
the operation.
The setting tool used is not
supported for the module.
Use the setting tool supported for the
module. See Table 2.1.2, “Supported
Communication Setting Tools”.
Invalid data input
The specified value exceeds
the range of the link relays and
link registers or invalid data
entered.
Specify a value within range.
Data size exceeded upper
limit.
The total data size is out range. Specify a value within range.
Duplicate data.
A duplicate link relay or link
register has been specified.
Set up the link relays and link registers
without duplication.
Error in module
specification.
The slot number specified for a
FA link module is incorrect.
Specify a proper slot number.
Error/Alarm in CPU.
(XXXX-XXAA)
An error has occurred while
accessing the FA link module.
