3.5. Profile Carrier Robot
Profiles transferred from the profile feed conveyor to the carrier robot are placed into the machining
center of the machine with a robot arm manufactured from a composite material and having special
holding jaws. The profile carrier robot works synchronously with the processing center and has the
ability to carry profiles from 6.6 meters to 0.7 meters.
3.6. Profile Feeding, Profile Output And Chip Conveyors
Profiles to be processed are left by the operator in the Feed Conveyor. By pressing the start button,
the profiles on the conveyor are placed in the loading robot's chamber by the conveyor motor
running synchronously with the robot arm. On the machine, the profiles coming from the cutting unit
are transferred to the output conveyor. The chips and cutting debris are removed from the area by
the chip conveyor. Conveyors are made from aluminum and steel profiles and are designed in
ergonomic dimensions that allow the operator to load the workpiece manually in a quick manner. It
is painted with Electrostatic Powder Paint for the purpose of protecting the metal parts against
corrosion.
