Making a pair and Bluetooth connection using the NFC function (for NFC-
compatible models)
Any of the follo w ing smartphone models (hereafter, referred to as an "NFC-compati b le model") offers
an easy paring and Bl u etooth connection.
• NFC-compati b le Android devices
Before starting the proced u re b elo w , t u rn on the NFC f u nction of the smartphone.
The f u nction may not w ork or the connecta b le distance may b e different depending on smartphones.
Tips
• If the smartphone is in a case, remove it.
• If a pairing or Bl u etooth connection does not w ork w ell, hold the smartphone differently over the prod u ct.
1 Press the Bluetooth button ( ).
The Bl u etooth indicator no w flashes b l u e,
indicating that the prod u ct is ready for a
Bl u etooth connection.
2 Hold the smartphone over the NFC
logo on the product.
When the connection is esta b lished, the
Bl u etooth indicator no w lights u p b l u e.
Also, a notification so u nd rings to let the u ser
kno w that the Bl u etooth connection has
b een esta b lished.
Tip
If yo u press the Bl u etooth bu tton ( ) w hile the
Bl u etooth indicator is flashing b l u e, or if 90
seconds elapses w itho u t the Bl u etooth connection
esta b lished, the prod u ct is no longer ready for the
Bl u etooth connection.

Disconnecting a Bluetooth connection
To disconnect a Bl u etooth connection w hile the connection is made, perform one of the follo w ing
operations:
• Press the Bl
u etooth bu tton ( ).
• Perform the Bl u etooth disconnection proced u re on the smartphone.
• Hold the smartphone over the NFC logo on the prod u ct (for NFC-compati b le models).
When a Bl u etooth connection is disconnected, the Bl u etooth indicator no w lights u p green.
Also, a notification so u nd rings to let the u ser kno w that the Bl u etooth connection has b een
disconnected.
