Checking that the connection has been made correctly
After the connection is esta b lished, perform the follo w ing steps to check that the PC recognizes the
prod u ct correctly.
The items and options in the setting w indo w may vary depending on yo u r PC environment.
1 Open the Control Panel on your PC.
• In Windo w s 7, click "Start" - "Control
Panel".
• In Windo w s 8.1, or 10, right-click the
b ottom left corner of the Start screen, and
then click "Control Panel".
2 Click "Hardware and Sound" - "Sound".
The "So u nd" w indo w appears.
3 Click the "Playback" tab.
4 Check that "Yamaha YVC-300" is set as
a default device in the "Speakers" field.
If not, click "Yamaha YVC-300" and then
click "Set Defa
u lt".
Tip
In most cases, simply connecting the prod u ct to a
PC a u tomatically sets "Yamaha YVC-300" as a
defa u lt device.
5 Click the "Recording" tab.
