Air Surround Xtreme
The AIR SURROUND XTREME technology enables you
to enjoy up to 7.1-channel sound (when multi-channel
PCM signals are input) without using surround speakers
by simulating sound from virtual speakers.
• When surround speakers are connected, “- - -” is displayed and
you cannot set the “Air Surround Xtreme” setting. The AIR
SURROUND XTREME function is not available in this case.
• When DSP Program is set to “Off” or “Music Enhancer”, the
AIR SURROUND XTREME function is deactivated.
• When “Air Surround Xtreme” is set to “Yes”, the connected
external sources output Dolby Digital or PCM signals instead of
Dolby TrueHD or Dolby Digital Plus signals. For details, refer
to the owner’s manual of the component.
