Position piston #1 at TDC by turning the
exhaust camshaft sprocket clockwise.

TIP:

Check that the punch marks “a” on the cam-
shafts are aligned with the marks “b” on the
camshaft caps.

4.

Measure the intake and exhaust valve
clearances of the specified cylinders.

Install the special service tools into spark
plug hole #4.
