Adjusting the drive track

Be sure to have a Yamaha
dealer make this adjust-
ment.
●
Support the snowmobile se-
curely on a suitable stand
before working underneath
the snowmobile.
●
Operate the engine in a well-
ventilated area.

1. Loosen the rear axle nut

2. Lift the rear of the snowmobile
onto a suitable stand to raise
the drive track off the ground.
3. Start the engine and rotate the
drive track one or two turns.
Stop the engine.
Standard drive track deflec-
tion:
30.0–35.0 mm (1.18–1.38 in) /
100 N (10 kgf, 22 lbf)

rant la mise en marche du mo-
teur dans une pièce bien venti-
lée.

1. Desserrer l’écrou de l’axe arrière

2. Placer l’arrière de la motoneige
sur un support adéquat, de façon
à ce que la chenille ne touche plus
le sol.
3. Mettre le moteur en marche et
laisser tourner la chenille d’un ou
deux tours. Couper le moteur.
Tension standard de la chenille :
30,0 à 35,0 mm (1,18 à 1,38 in)
/ 100 N (10 kgf, 22 lbf)
3. Se la flessione non è corretta,
regolare la tensione del cingo-
lo.

Avviare il motore in un luo-
go ben ventilato.

1. Allentare il dado dell’assale
posteriore

2. Sollevare la parte posteriore
della motoslitta su un supporto
adeguato per staccare il cin-
golo dal suolo.
3. Avviare il motore e far compie-
re al cingolo uno o due giri.
Spegnere il motore.
Flessione standard del cingolo:
30,0–35,0 mm /
100 N (10 kgf)
