2. Remove:
• Thumb nut

• Washer

• Air filter element

• Air filter guide

5. Apply the recommended oil to the air
filter element surface and remove the
oil excess compressing the element. The
e l e m e n t s h o u l d b e d a m p b u t n o t
dripping.
NOTE:
A f t e r c l e a n i n g r e m o v e t h e k e r o s e n e
compressing the element.
3. Check:
• Air filter element

Damages => Replace.
4. Clean:
• Air filter element
Wash with kerosene.
Do not twist the element.
CAUTION:
Do not use gasoline to clean the air filter
element. Gasoline may cause fire or
explosion.

WARNING
Recommended oil:
SAE 20W40
Do not start the engine without the air filter
element, since this allows non-filtered air
to enter, resulting in wear and potential
damage to the engine. In addition, if the
engine rotates without the filter element
the carburetion will be affected, resulting
in efficiency loss and overheating.
