ENGINE

9. Install:

• Head

NOTE:

• When installing the camshaft gear, keep

pulling the chain to the maximum on the
exhaust side.

• Align the camshaft gear mark

with

the stationary mark

on the head.

• Align the camshaft pin

with the slot

on the gear.

Installation steps:

• Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise until

mark PMS

aligns with the stationary

mark on the case

• Align the camshaft pin

with the

stationary mark

on the head.

• Place the camshaft chain on the camshaft

gear and install the gear on the camshaft.
