Propeller shaft housing
3. Check:
• Dog clutch operates smoothly
Assembling the propeller shaft hous-
ing assembly
1. Install:
• Needle bearing “1” (into the propeller shaft
housing)
TIP:
Face the bearing identification mark “a” on the
needle bearing toward the propeller.
2. Install:
• Oil seal “1” (into the propeller shaft hous-
ing)
TIP:
Install an oil seal halfway into the propeller
shaft housing, and then install the other oil
seal.
