The hole in the hitch
must align to the hole
in the carrier.

LARGE BOLT AND
LOCK-WASHER.

Insert the key, lock
the hitch lock.

Close the lock cap.

LOCK THE
CARRIER TO
THE VEHCILE.

INSTALL HITCH NUT AND

ATTACH THE CARRIER.

Slide the nut
housing into the end
of the carrier.

Use a 7/8 or 15/16 inch
socket wrench and
TIGHTEN.

HITCH LOCK
SECURES THE
BOLT.

Insert the
carrier into
the hitch.

PUSH BASE ONTO
CARRIER MAST.

ALIGN HOLES IN MAST AND BASE.

TIGHTEN with
adjustable-end

wrenches or 9/16"
wrenches.

Insert second bolt with a
washer into adjacent hole.

Position clear sleeve so bolt
can pass through.

TIGHTEN with adjustable-end
wrenches or 9/16" wrenches.

WARNING:

DO NOT

OVER-TIGHTEN

THIS BOLT!

Insert pin into
holes in plates

and through mast.

Secure wire onto
end of hitch pin.

At center hole near end: Insert bolt and
washer. Attach another washer and nut
to bolt.

Attach washer
and nut.

CRADLES HAVE

A FRONT AND BACK.

Push the

cradles onto the mast

by flexing the cradle

upward.

The smooth depression on
the right front side must
face TOWARD you.

The cradle with Yakima
should go on last, with the
Yakima facing out.

Push the metal button to

allow installation.
