3.
General description
3.1.
Application
The pumps convey waste water and are used for dewatering of basements, drainage of pits, sewers and
basements.
The pumps are not suitable for conveying mediums with strongly abrasive components (e.g. sand, gravel,
stones).
Use in slurp mode is permitted.
The temperature of the pumped medium may be up to 35°C, short-term up to 60°C maximum. The maximum
density of the pumped medium is 1,100 kg/m
3
and the pH value may be 6 to 8.
3.2.
Type of Use
For a surfaced motor, the pumps are designed for operation modes S2 (short-term operation) or S3 (intermittent
operation). Please refer to the exact data in the table in Section 3.3.2 Motor.
3.3.
Construction
The submersible aggregate consists of the motor, the pump casing and the suitable impeller. All important parts
are of generous dimension.
