The machinery does not run smoothly and makes noises
Cause Remedy
The machinery runs in inadmissible operating range Check the operating data of the machinery and correct, if
appropriate and/or adjust the operating conditions
Pump inlet, intake strainer and/or wheel/propeller
congested Clean suction branch, suction filter and/or
impeller/propeller
Impeller does not run smoothly Switch off machinery, protect against restart, restore
operability of the impeller
Inadmissible content of gas in the pumped medium Contact the manufacturer
Dual phase operation Specialist to check connection and to correct, if
appropriate
Wear and tear Replace worn parts
Engine mount defective Contact the manufacturer
Machine mounted askew Check assembly and use rubber compensators
