Use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the four flat panel display screws.

7.

 

Disconnect the bulb connectors from the inverter card (pink and white wires).

8.

 

Lift the right side of the flat panel up to access the data cable, and then unplug it.

9.

 

Place the flat panel display facedown on a protective surface.

10.

 

Referring to Figure D-6, depress the tab at the end of the bulb assembly to release it.

Slide the bulb assembly out until it disengages from the notches, and then lift it out
of the display.

2.

 

Insert the new bulb assembly by placing it over the notches and sliding it until the
release tab locks.

Note

Xycom recommends replacing both bulbs at the same time.

Repeat steps 11 and 13 for the second bulb assembly.

2.

 

Reverse steps 1 through 10 to reassemble the unit.
