Referring to Figure D-4, unscrew the two screws on the top and bottom of the bulb
assembly, and remove.

Replace with a new bulb assembly.

Note

Xycom recommends replacing both bulbs at the same time.

1.

 

Repeat steps 10 and 11 for the second bulb assembly.

2.

 

Reverse steps 1 through 9 to reassemble the unit.

Sharp 13.8-inch TFT Flat Panel Display  (#LQ14X03)

Turn off the power source.

1.

 

Unlatch and remove the lid.

2.

 

If a touchscreen is installed, disconnect the touchscreen cable (TCH1) at the top of
the system board.

3.

 

Disconnect the KEYPAD1, LEDKB1, and MS2 connectors.

4.

 

Lay the unit facedown, and remove the four screws holding front panel to the display
adapter plate.

5.

 

Flip the unit over, lift off the front panel, and set it aside.

6.

 

Referring to Figure D-1, use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the four flat
panel display screws.

7.

 

Disconnect the bulb connectors (the pink and white wires).

8.

 

Leaving the flat panel display connected to the unit by the cable assemblies, lift up
the right side until it is resting on its left edge.
