GUIDE TO SUBMITTING JOBS FROM THE CLIENT
Options in UNIX
Options are case sensitive. You can enter more than one option at a
time.
-Pprinter
Specifies the queue from which you want to remove a job.
-
Removes all jobs you submitted, if you enter the option before
the job reaches the Printer Controller. You cannot use the -
option with the username option.
<job ID number>
Specifies the job to remove as referred to in the job ID number
specified by the lpq and not the job ID number on the DocuPrint
Printer Controller.
username
Specifies that only jobs submitted by a particular user be
removed. This option is available only to a user with root
privileges. If you do not have root privileges, you cannot remove
another user’s job.
Example (UNIX)
The following example shows how to remove all jobs submitted by
Susan to the Printer Controller “rushmore”:
lprm -P rushmore susan
