Setting the preferences
You can use the Preferences dialog to change the unit of
measurement for the custom paper stock size and the image shift
options, to determine whether to use the document’s name as the job
name in Job Notes, whether to write the account when saving the job
ticket, and to set the default job ticket name and pathname.
1. On the DocuPrint NPS Setup window, click the Preferences...
icon.
The preference dialog box displays:
2. Set the parameters you want to change:

To set the document file name as the job name in Job
Notes, click the check box next to the option, Use the
Document Name as the Job Name.

To save the account number in the job ticket, click the check
box next to the option, Write the Account When Saving the
Job Ticket.

To select a default job ticket to use when resetting the job
ticket defaults, first deselect the check box next to the option
Use Generic Job Ticket. Then, enter a default job ticket
name by typing it in, or through the Browse option.

To set the Custom paper size units, click Inches or
Millimeters. To enable a job ticket to determine settings,
click the Override with Job Ticket check box.

To set the Image shift units, click Inches or Millimeters. To
enable a job ticket to determine settings, click the Override
with Job Ticket check box.
3. To save your changes, click [Save]. To exit the dialog without
saving any changes, click [Cancel].
