Software Installation Procedure
In Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98, or Windows NT 4.0

Make sure the Xerox WorkCentre 480cx is connected to your computer.

Power off the WorkCentre 480cx by unplugging it from the wall outlet.

Turn on your PC and start Windows.

Power on the Workcentre 480cx by plugging it into a grounded wall
outlet.

Insert the supplied CD into your computer’s CD ROM drive.
The Xerox WorkCentre 480cx installation program will begin.
If the program does not start:
a)
From the Start menu, select Run (Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0).
Or
From the File menu of the Windows Program Manager, select
Run (Windows 3.x).
b)
Type D:\XINSTALL.EXE (where "D" represents the letter
designation of the computer’s CD ROM drive), and click OK to
start the installation program.
The Xerox WorkCentre 480cx installation program will begin.
