6-10 Scanning
The Basic Tab
The features of the Basic Tab are described in this section. All of the
features of this tab are available when the Image type selection is True
Color, 256 Colors, or Gray 256 Scales. Refer to the table below which
indicates the tab features that are available for the Lineart B/W and Halftone
B/W Image Type selections.
Image Type
This menu specifies the mode in which the image is to be scanned. Each of
the selections available are explained in detail below.
The following examples of the scan modes illustrate possible output for the
scanned image.
