CLEANING TIPS
•
Only clean one optic at a time. This way there will be no confusion as to where the optics go. Remember,
if you change up the order of the optics, your system will not work properly.
•
Blow off all loose debris first. This will ensure that the optics will not scratch during cleaning.
•
Don’t soak the cotton swab in Acetone. After you dip the cotton swab in acetone, shake off the access
before cleaning. This will help reduce the haze that sometimes appears on optics as they are being
cleaned.
•
Clean in a circular motion and press gently! Clean the optics in a slow circular motion starting from the
center and working your way outward.
•
After you clean with acetone, gently polish with a dry swab. Sometimes when cleaning optics, the
acetone will leave a haze. If this happens, use a dry swab and gently polish the surface using the same
circular cleaning pattern.
•
When removing build up between the teeth of the belts and pulleys, use a toothpick.
