2 REMOVAL

Pull firmly towards the front the protruding part of the Tear Off.

ATTENTION!!! 

Tear Off visor use is only recommended for track competitions. 
Do not use them for normal road use.

The combination between Tear Off and helmet visors can slightly reduce light trans-
mittance and increase light diffusion. For this reason use of the two visors together is
not approved.

Damaged or scratched visors and Tear Off visors must not be used and should be
replaced.

• WIND PROTECTOR / BREATH DEFLECTOR

Under certain conditions of use, helmet performance can be improved by using these
accessories.
The Wind Protector prevents annoying infiltration of air under the chin area (see Fig.13 for
assembling and disassembling).
The Breath Deflector prevents the formation of condensation on the visor by-passing the
air flow downwards (see Fig. 14 for assembly and disassembly).

Note: 

The wind protector and breath deflector accessories can be easily removed. You

can check the correct assembling of these accessories by pulling them gently towards the
inside of the helmet with your thumb and forefinger. If they move, repeat the assembling
operations.

1 INNER 

VISOR 

ASSEMBLY

1.1  Remove the visor.
1.2  Remove the protective film from the inner visor on the face in contact with the visor.
1.3  Check that the inner surface of the visor is clean.

Attention: the presence of dust between the visors can produce scratches on both
surfaces.

1.4  Rest one side of the inner visor on one of the visor pins and hold it in position (see

Fig. 6).

1.5  Open the visor and fasten the other side of the inner visor to the second pin (see Fig. 7).
1.6  Release the visor. 
1.7  Remove the second protective film from the inner visor.

Attention: check that both visors are tightly connected and do not move; if they do,
adjust the spring pins using a screwdriver to set the adherence (Fig. 8).

1.8  Fit the visor in the helmet.

ATTENTION!!!

Make sure that the system has been assembled properly by pulling up and
down the visor.

Scratched visors and inner visors can cause reduced visibility and must there-
fore be changed.

2 DISASSEMBLY

2.1  Remove the visor equipped with inner visor.
2.2  Widen the visor: the inner visor will come off automatically.

• TEAR OFF

The visor of this helmet with a flat external surface comes with adjustable hooks to mount
extra tear-off visors using the same system used by professional riders.

1 Assembly

1.1  Remove the protective film on one side (Fig. 9).
1.2  Attach Tear Off from the side without film and let the free surface rest on the visor by

fastening a slot at a time to the special pin (Fig. 10/11).

1.3  Check that the Tear Off adheres perfectly to the visor. Then tension the Tear Off to its

limit by rotating the spring pin (Fig. 12).

1.4  Remove the protective film on the outside.
