A regular control of rhe instrument can be carried out by
absorbance measurement with clean and not scratched
vial/cuvettes filled with FD water (FD = fully demineralized):
- For all wave lengths, except 340 nm, the measured absorbance
should be ±0.010 A.
- For 340 nm the measured absorbance is ±0.030 A.
Differences from these values may be subject to cuvette defects or
mechanical reasons (smaller differences) or are caused by wrongly
performed zero adjustments (differences dependent on the cuvette
volume are more or less high).
Note the determined values in order to state possible alterations. In
case of further questions or problems contact us.
Installation of filter 12
First switch off the instrument!
Do not touch the filter glass with
your fingers
Selector switch to position 6.
Turn out screw.
Remove lid
Insert filter.
Screw on filter.
