Action in case of broken cuvette in the cuvette
compartment
Never turn up the MultiLab P5 in order to pour out
the liquid that has run out!
The MultiLab P5 is equipped with a drain device below
the cuvette department (outlet in compartment and
absorbing tank with bottom drain in the instrument),
which provides a contact of the liquid with electronic
components.
If the MultiLab P5 is turned up the collected liquid in the
absorbing tank runs into the instrument and causes short
circuits!
Switch off the instrument.
Let drain the liquid (leaks
out at the bottom side of the
photometer).
Remove glass parts
(e.g. with a pincette).
Carefully rinse cuvette
compartment.
Let drain rinsing liquid.
Dry cuvette compartment
(e.g. with a soft towel) or let
it dry.
After drying the photometer
is prepared for operation.
