Exchanging the rechargeable batteries
Warning
Always use the specified NiMH rechargeable batteries (see chap-
ter 7 T
ECHNICAL
DATA
). Using normal batteries can damage the
meter.
Warning
Make sure that the poles of the rechargeable batteries are the right way
round.
The
±
signs on the batteries must correspond to the
±
signs in the bat-
tery compartment.
Use leakproof NiMH rechargeable batteries only.

Open the battery compartment (1) on the underside of the
meter.

Take the four batteries out of the battery compartment.

Place four new rechargeable batteries (type Mignon AA) in the
battery compartment.

Close the battery compartment (1).
The date (day) flashes in the display.

Set the date and time according to section 4.2.4.
