Carrying out a ConCal calibration
Single-point calibration
Use any buffer solution for this rapid method.
The calibration will be exacter if the pH value of the buffer solution is
closer to that of the test sample.
Two-point calibration
Use two buffer solutions for this procedure:
!
first buffer solution: pH 7.0 ± 0.5
!
any other buffer solution
For this calibration,
Cal. type
ConCal
must be set in the sensor menu
(see section 4.4.4).
1
In the measured value display, select the pH or mV measuring
window with
82
and
m
.
2
Start the calibration with
c
.
The calibration display appears.
3
Thoroughly rinse the electrode with distilled water.
4
Immerse the electrode in buffer solution 1.
5
Set the nominal buffer value for the measured temperature with
g
and
82
. Then confirm the value with
g
.
6
If the
Set temperature
menu item appears, measure and enter
the temperature of the buffer manually (measurement without
temperature sensor).
7
Select
Continue
with
82
and press
g
. The buffer is mea-
sured.
The measured value is checked for stability (AutoRead).
